Join us on the mountain for our 2026 Veterans Day Ceremony, Guardians of the Promise: The 250-Year Unbroken Line.For 250 years, men and women from every background, every branch, and every era have made the same choice: to step forward and serve a promise that belongs to all of us. At Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial, 822 feet above San Diego, nearly 10,000 of those guardians look out over the Pacific. Their stories — the full lives they lived before and beyond the uniform — are permanently preserved on our walls.
This Veterans Day, we honor them all.
Ceremony Program: Inspiring remarks from distinguished speakers, stirring patriotic music, and a tribute to the living veterans, active-duty service members, and military families who carry the unbroken line forward today.
The Guardians' Gathering: Following the ceremony, stay for The Guardians' Gathering on the west lawn overlooking the Pacific. Live music by Full Strength, refreshments, and a community that believes freedom is worth celebrating and those who secured it are worth remembering.
Free to attend. Open to all.
