GST Risks and Controls Series: How to Review Your GST Returns
Are you confident that your GST return review process would detect an error before the return is filed?
A robust GST return review process is an important part of an organisation’s GST compliance framework. A well-designed review can help identify errors and unusual transactions before a GST return is filed, reducing compliance risks and the need for subsequent corrections.
Join us for this highly practical 3.5-hour seminar, where the trainer will share his 50 detective controls that businesses can incorporate into their GST return review process.
Drawing on experience from both GST auditing and advising businesses on GST matters, the trainer will focus on the types of GST reporting risks that can arise in practice and, more importantly, how these risks can be identified through practical review procedures and detective controls.
Rather than focusing solely on GST rules, the seminar will demonstrate practical review techniques that organisations can apply to their own GST returns, helping them adopt a more systematic and effective approach to GST return reviews.
Trainer Profile
The seminar is led by a GST specialist with experience as a former IRAS GST auditor and GST tax advisor, bringing practical perspectives from both the regulatory and business advisory sides of GST compliance.
