The Granite State Ringers’ Quartet, affectionately known as GBB, is hitting the road again this holiday season, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the magic, music, and joy of handbells with our audiences! These special, more intimate performances offer a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with the music and the musicians. We’ll take you behind the scenes with personal stories about our musical selections, share a glimpse into what goes on during a typical rehearsal, and give you a better appreciation for the artistry, skill, and teamwork that make handbell ringing so unique.
Each member of GBB will also take center stage with a featured spotlight piece, showcasing the incredible versatility and expressive possibilities of handbells. From beautiful, reflective melodies to toe-tapping holiday favorites, there’s something for everyone!
Our musical selections will include “Drum Carol,” “Emmanuel,” “Lo, How a Rose,” and the lively “Jingle Bell Calypso,” affectionately nicknamed “Banana Bird” by the quartet!
Whether you're a longtime handbell enthusiast or experiencing handbells up close for the very first time, we promise an entertaining, interactive, and music-filled holiday experience. We can't wait to ring for you!
