Growing up in Rego Park Join us at Kingsland Homestead for a historical book release
About this Event

Join us on Saturday November 14th at 3pm for a book release, lecture and signing at Kingsland Homestead!

Join us for a trip back in time to the Rego Park of Yesterday when it was a neighborhood of tree lined streets and a bustling Queens Boulevard with familiar mom and pop stores where everyone knew your name. We will show remarkable never before seen photographs of the growing up in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. Places that made Rego Park will be explored in detail. Relive a community at a remarkable time in history.

It is more than nostalgic photographs it will be a fully explored portrait of neighborhood experiences in fashion cars, food, music, teenage hangouts and colorful characters.

All in Living Color!

Discover how the community changed into the new place it has become today with the release of this new book by Ron Marzlock!

Copies of this book which has a limited print run will be on sale and signed by the author!

Admission is $7 for Non-Members and $5 for QHS members.
