Growing Successful SMEs in the Defence and Security Sector

Given the important role of SMEs in a fast-changing technologically driven security and defence landscape, this LRDSC event aims to give insight into some of the critical components in establishing, growing and sustaining successful businesses. The event will include a variety of speakers and sessions that include, key concepts and understanding for doing business in the defence sector; strategic branding, marketing and positioning; defence procurement; emerging funding opportunities; as well as insight and top tips from a panel of well-established SMEs. The closing keynote by ​Jonathan Shaw CBE, a Senior Associate of Strategical, former Director of UK Special Forces and UK Cyber Security Director, will reinforce the importance of new solutions and technologies in the battlefield. As is usual for LRDSC events, there will be opportunities for a selection of SMEs to showcase their activities and expertise in the lightning / quick fire slots, and ample time to network.
