About this Event
The growing season isn’t over yet! Join local growing expert Heather Budge-Reid for a fun, hands-on workshop exploring autumn garden jobs, winter harvests and how to keep your plot productive and nature-friendly all year round.
Coinciding with autumn and the Nature Friendly Garden Awards, this one-day Grow Your Own workshop will focus on practical, seasonal activities to help us work together and keep growing throughout the year.
We’ll explore what needs doing in the autumn garden, how to plan ahead for winter and what we can still look forward to harvesting over the coming months, including the festive times and beyond. We’ll also look at ways to balance growing your own food with creating a nature-friendly garden.
And, if there’s time, we might even have a think about the gardening gifts we’re hoping to find under the tree this year!
Led by local growing expert Heather Budge-Reid for Healthiest Town Aberfeldy.
Coffee and tea provided. One-hour break 12.30 - 1.30 pm—please bring your own lunch.
