About this Event
Grounding Medicine: Calming with Herbal/Plant Allies
Join herbalist and professor Faith Hanna at the Living Museum of Herbal Medicine for a medicine making class focused on time-trusted, calming allies: chamomile, lemon balm, lavender, mullein, skullcap, blue vervain, mexican marigold, and more.
We'll have fun learning about plants that gently and steadily help us calm and ground, especially through challenging and uncertain times. We'll get our hands and hearts into custom blends of flowers, stems, and leaves. You'll go home with your own soul-soothing tea blend/remedy to keep close by during the holidays ahead.
What the cost of your ticket covers: Sonoma-grown herbs/plants, a 16 oz mason jar (large enough for 2 cups of herbs), access to the museum/space/garden, expert guidance, and dozens of books to learn from as you create your blend.
Important Note: Please bring a large mixing bowl and any herbs/allies that you'd like to add to your own tea blend, and/or contribute to others.
Important Note: Please do not come if you are feeling even slightly sick/contagious/any symptoms of cold/flu at all. Instead, join us at another event when you are well.
