At Ground Domain, our connection to the military community is personal. As an academy owned by a military family and serving Columbus, Fort Benning, and the surrounding communities, we believe in taking care of the people who have served alongside us.
Our mission is to help people become the best versions of themselves. On our mats, that means building a community where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, teammates support one another, and progress is something we work toward together. We want more veterans to experience that sense of belonging.
The We Defy Foundation helps combat veterans coping with military-connected disabilities access long-term Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. Through training, veterans can find new challenges, build meaningful connections, and become part of a team again.
On average, $2,500 funds one veteran scholarship, including gym fees and uniform costs. Your support helps remove financial barriers so more veterans can step onto the mats and become part of a welcoming community.
