Deputy Chief Treena MacSween is deeply committed to building collaborative partnerships that shape effective community safety strategies and is a steadfast advocate for inclusive workplaces and the wellness of police service members.
Recognized as a trailblazer in Canadian policing, her promotion to Deputy Chief marked a historic milestone, making her the highest ranking Black female officer in Canada.
Beyond her operational responsibilities, she serves as Co-Chair of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee and is an active member of the Ontario Women in Law Enforcement Advisory Council.
