Join Griff for a very special evening celebrating the extraordinary food, fascinating history and rich culinary traditions of the Indian subcontinent.
From the bustling street-food stalls of Mumbai and Delhi to the aromatic kitchens of Kashmir and Punjab, we’ll take a journey through some of the world’s most exciting food cultures — without leaving Edgworth!
And there’s more to the evening than simply enjoying a good meal.
👨🍳 FOOD WITH A STORY
Throughout the evening, I’ll personally introduce each dish, exploring its origins, the people and places behind it, and the spices, ingredients and cooking techniques that have made these recipes so special for generations.
We’ll discover how regional traditions, history and culture have influenced the food we enjoy today — and perhaps uncover a few surprises along the way!

🌿 Chana Dal & Spinach
Accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, vegetable biryani, warm chapatis, raita, chutneys and traditional Indian pickles.
🍚 Cardamom & Saffron Kheer
A deliciously traditional Indian rice pudding to finish our journey.
🍷🍺 Matching wines and beers will also be available.
