About this Event
Grief Is Not Linear (And It Doesn't End)
Somewhere along the way we were taught that grief moves in stages. That there's an order to it. That eventually you finish.
That's not true, and if you've been grieving for six months or six years and you still don't feel "over it," you're not doing it wrong.
Join Morgan Fava, death doula and grief educator, for an honest conversation about what grief actually looks like. This isn't a lecture. It's a room where you can hear that what you're feeling makes sense, and leave with a different way of understanding your own grief.
We'll talk about:
- Where the five stages of grief came from and why they were never meant to be a checklist
- Why grief comes back long after everyone else has moved on
- What it means to carry grief as an ongoing relationship, not a problem to solve
Free and open to the community. Bring a friend, bring your grief, bring nothing but yourself.
