About this Event
“Something nightmarish this way comes.” “Freak-out fun.” — The New York Times
This October, Wolfen Hollow Adventure Theatre returns to Wine Shop for a staged reading of Grey House, the chilling Broadway play by Levi Holloway.
After a car accident in a winter storm, a couple takes refuge in an isolated cabin. Its residents are strangely welcoming — and strangely unwilling to let anyone leave. What unfolds is a slow-burning, deeply unsettling story about the things a house remembers and the guests it was waiting for.
Pull up a chair, pour a glass of wine, and let a talented local cast bring this modern ghost story to life just in time for Halloween.
What to expect:
- A staged reading: actors perform script-in-hand, with minimal sets and maximum atmosphere
- An intimate setting — only 40 seats
- Wine, beer, cocktails & alcohol free options available
- Food Menu available for dinner!
Good to know:
- Admission is free, but seating is limited to 40 — please RSVP to hold your spot
- Suggested donation: $10 (more or less) to help cover the performance rights
- Grey House is a horror play with intense themes and frightening moments.
- Please arrive a few minutes early; seating is first come, first served
Perfect for: theatre lovers, horror fans, and anyone looking for a spooky-season night out that's a little more interesting than a haunted hayride.
Grey House is presented through special arrangement with TRW, 1180 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 640, New York, NY 10036. www.theatricalrights.com
