Greenwood Rye performs fun, modern songs in concert that are rooted in bluegrass, throwing in some jam band tendencies and an occasional kick-drum or delay pedal. In addition to their originals, they love playing fresh renditions of eclectic covers of all genres done with the beautiful sounds of acoustic bluegrass instruments. The band is led by Shawn Spencer on guitar and vocals; his band mates play fiddle, mandolin, banjo and upright bass.
