Green Faye
Faye Green has been captivating Connecticut audiences for decades with her sultry vocals, commanding stage presence, and infectious energy.
Known for fronting Faye and the Funky Allstars in the 1980s, Faye built a reputation for blending jazz, blues, funk, and soul into an exciting live performance. Throughout her career, she has performed at venues throughout Connecticut and New York City, including the legendary Apollo Theater, and was voted Best Jazz/Blues Singer for three consecutive years by The Advocate.
Faye has opened for nationally recognized acts including Average White Band, Melba Moore, Tower of Power, and Tavares, and has performed alongside accomplished musicians including Mark Egan and the late Jaco Pastorius.
Today, Faye continues to perform with some of the area's finest musicians, mixing beloved standards with upbeat jazz originals and plenty of funk and soul.
