Join CAFES for Green Drinks: Unwrapping Green Possibilities, an evening of fresh perspectives, creative ideas, and community connections as we explore different ways to build a more sustainable future.
Here's what's lined up for the evening:
- Hear from a local artisan about sustainable practices, creative reuse, and making more thoughtful choices during one of the most consumption-heavy times of the year.
- Create your own reusable fabric gift wrap with Painted Key Art Therapy! Explore furoshiki, the Japanese art of fabric wrapping, and discover how everyday materials can become beautiful, reusable alternatives to traditional wrapping paper. All fabric and art supplies will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own fabric if you have something you'd like to repurpose. This hands-on activity is completely optional!
- Watch a special sneak peek of Our Grid, Our Future, a documentary exploring the future of our energy systems and the role we can play in shaping a more sustainable future. Get a first look at the film, learn more about CAFES' upcoming screening, and purchase tickets to see the full documentary!
- Enjoy some delicious pizza, on us! Because good conversations are even better over good food.
