About this Event
Death Cafés and Salons have been taking globally since the early 2000's. Green Death Cafés started in Vancouver several years ago by Ngaio Davis of KORU Cremation | Burial | Ceremony and she is delighted to bring them to the North Shore, where they will be co-hosted by Desiree Kranendijk of Contentus: End of Life Care.
Like regular death cafés, the green death cafés are unstructured, organic conversations around anything to do with dying and death, with expertise around eco after-deathcare provided by Ngaio, for the curious-minded folks.
If you've been looking for an opportunity to have conversations about death and dying without being judged, this is the place for you. We look forward to leaning into the questions and conversations that participants bring, so don't be shy!
