One day on muscle, nutrients, and GLP-1 medicationsAbout this Event
Some drugs ask the body to do a job it does not have the parts for. When those parts are missing, the patient stalls, and it looks like a side effect or like the treatment simply failed.
That gap is what this day is about.
In the morning, Dr. Matt Chalmers covers the GLP-1 medications. Many of the problems patients report are not really side effects at all; they are nutrient deficiencies the drug itself created. He works through the effects organ by organ, and then gives you a daily support plan and a lab schedule you can put to use on Monday.
After lunch, Dr. Nicole Gesik explains why some patients stop improving even when the diagnosis is right, and the care is appropriate. She shows you what the body was missing and how to replace it.
Two doctors, one idea: find what is missing, feed the tissue, and protect the muscle.
3:30 – 6:30 PM · Optional: Sunset Catamaran Cruise and Dinner
