Celebrate North Carolina Trails with Great Day on the Trails! Discover Winston-Salem's strollways and history through expert guided tours and self guided walks.
An urban guided walk through downtown Winston and strollways, highlighting historical and other points of interest. Attendees can park at MUSE Winston Salem's parking lot.
Expert Guided Walking Tours
The guided walking tours will be under 2 miles on strollways, sidewalks, and trails; lasting approximately 1 hour with stops. Participants can select either a Naturalist Guided Walking Tour that will focus on the trees, horticulture, and birds of our city--or an Urban and Historical Guided Tour that will highlight the points of interest in downtown Winston-Salem and Old Salem.
Self Guided Walks
Those who are interested in discovering the city at their own pace can stop by the information booth at MUSE that will be set up from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. to pick up map booklets and utilize MUSE's parking lot as a central location for the walking loops.
