“Try a little of this.” It's a simple invitation, but often how you discover something rather good? A cheese you might otherwise have overlooked, a savoury from the deli kitchen, a taste of our own home-cooked ham, a new recipe from the fish counter or some of our home-reared meat cooked by the butchers. Sometimes the smallest sample is enough to make you think differently about what you're eating. For one evening, our farm shop becomes a place to wander, taste and talk food.
Throughout the shop, independent British producers and artisan makers will be offering samples of their own specialities.
In the café, our chefs and café team will be sharing small tastes from our menus, alongside a complimentary glass of mulled wine or cider. Fish and chips will also be available to eat in or take away.
It's an evening for taking your time, asking questions, meeting the people behind the food and discovering something you might never have thought to try.
There's time to browse the gift shop and florist, choose a Christmas tree and pick up your Christmas order forms.
No rush, plenty of free parking and a whole farm shop full of things to taste.
