Based on real people aboard the most legendary ship in the world, Titanic: The Musical is a stirring portrait of the passengers aboard the "unsinkable ship" and the tragedy that followed. Spanning all classes, Titanic captures the stories from the whole range of humanity aboard the ship: from workers in the boiler room to first-class attendants, from the poorest passengers, who scraped together their life savings to purchase third-class tickets to America, to some of the wealthiest men of the Victorian age.
The musical opened on Broadway in 1997 and won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Approximate Runtime: 2 hours and 30 minutes, including intermission.
CONTENT ADVISORY: Recommended for ages 10 and older. This production contains mild sexual references, intense emotional themes, depictions of a historical tragedy, loss, and grief. We encourage patrons to use their own judgment based on a child's individual maturity level and sensitivity to tragic events.
This musical is not related to the 1997 film.
Reserved Tickets for Titanic: The Musical are $15. Tickets will be available online and by phone (616-574-5600). There are no in-person ticket sales.
