This 3-hour, trauma-informed workshop invites you to explore gratitude as more than a seasonal ritual or a “love and light” mantra. Especially around Thanksgiving, gratitude is often promoted as a quick path to happiness and well-being. Yet when positivity is used to avoid discomfort, sadness, or vulnerability, it can slip into spiritual or somatic bypassing—leaving stress, tension, or even physical symptoms unresolved. In Gratitude with Grit, you’ll learn how to cultivate authentic, embodied thankfulness gratitude that makes room for your whole experience rather than denying it. Through a blend of gentle somatic practices, nervous-system-regulating techniques, journaling, and group reflection, you’ll discover how to:
Recognize the difference between authentic gratitude and bypassing.
Safely meet discomfort and “the edge” without overwhelm, building resilience.
Reframe uncomfortable sensations as signals for growth rather than threats.
Support your nervous system to move from shutdown or tension into connection and authentic expression.
No previous yoga or somatic experience is required. All bodies and all feelings are welcome. You’ll leave with tools to practice gratitude in a way that is grounded, honest, and sustaining long after the holidays end.
Register by Wednesday, November 18th, 2026 to reserve your spot.
