Honor Native American Heritage Month with us in a community-centered event to discover the impact of Native foods around the world!
About this Event

How familiar are you with Native American foods? Do you cook with them regularly? Do you grow them? Let's consider the impacts of Native foods around the world while sharing simple dishes that the speaker grew up on. You might find that you rely on foods from the Americas far more than you knew and maybe discover a new flavor that you love!

  • Find an appreciation of the origins of Native foods
  • Discover lessons in community and culture-sharing
  • Engage in ways that we practice gratitude to honor Native American Heritage Month

Participants will have the opportunity to sampleTagaani. It is sort of a corn meal/porridge dish that is slightly sweet and is vegetarian.
