Come along to Grassmarket market and spend a while browsing the stalls full of lots of goodies and treats from local artisans and makers. It’s a perfect place to pick up a gift, for others, or yourself, and by buying here you’ll know that you’re supporting small independent traders and craftspeople. There will be stalls selling jewellery, lamps, handmade soaps, bags, children’s clothing, leather goods, cards, ceramics, textiles, embroidery kits and cashmere knitwear. If music is more your thing, there’s a stall selling vinyl and CDs.
There are also plenty of yummy eating options, from fresh bakes, breads, olives, tapenades, and sweet treats, to streetfood from Japan, Kenya, and Spain. For a full list of stall holders, check out the web page nearer the time.
