Turkey time! According to the Wine Spectator, the very best wine for turkey and accompaniments is Pinot Noir. So, for this month, we will taste the lighter red recommended for the big bird. Please bring a favorite Pinot Noir or one you would like to try and discover others as we share our opinions in a blind tasting of wines made with this important grape.
These tastings follow a familiar format. Each person (not each couple) brings a bottle of the featured wine to the tasting. Wine glasses, tableware, bread, cheese and wine scoring sheets are provided by the Club in exchange for a fee of $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Attendees are seated at tables of 5 – 6 people. You are welcome to specify if you wish to sit with friends, and we will try to accommodate your request.
Please remember to bring a bottle of Pinot Noir for each member of your party.
