Whether you are a budding nonprofit or an established organization, mastering the art of grant writing is the key to unlocking sustainability. In this 2-day practicum, you will dive deep into the grant writing process. Through interactive exercises and real-time feedback on your writing, you will learn how to develop a competitive grant proposal.
After this 2-day intensive grant writing workshop, you will:
· Understand how grants fit into a nonprofit’s overall fundraising plan
· Know what grantmakers expect in a competitive grant proposal
· Know what you need to be ready to apply for grants
· Understand the grant writing process
· Know how to make a compelling case for the need you are seeking to address
· Know how to design your program plan with the funder’s interest (the impact) in mind
· Know how to answer the funder’s question: “How will you measure success?”
· How to develop a strong grant budget
You will leave the session with a complete structural outline for specific grant proposal.
