Join Ellen for a friendly beginner-friendly crochet class and learn how to make traditional granny squares.Granny squares are one of the best-known crochet techniques and are a lovely place to start if you are new to crochet. Once you have learnt the basic stitches and how the square is built, you can use them for all sorts of projects, including blankets, cushions, bags, scarves and more.
Ellen will guide you step by step through making a classic granny square, helping you with the stitches, corners and rhythm of the pattern.
A ball of yarn and a crochet hook will be supplied, so you can simply come along and enjoy learning something new.
