Grandparents Raising Grandchildren SeminarThis initiative is a part of United Way's "5 DAYS OF CARING"
Grandparents caring for their grandchildren are invited to attend this FREE specialized seminar, geared towards services, resources, & conversations catered to YOU and grand families. Our planning partners recognize the crucial role grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren and invite you to this engagement opportunity.
This interactive seminar will include 4 educational sessions on Mental & Behavioral Health (Youth Mental Health First Aid - recognize the signs), Technology (Grandparenting in the Digital Age! Navigating Safety, Literacy, and AI), Legal (guardian guidance & family law), and Curriculum (Connecting Curriculum, Classrooms, & Families). This GRG Seminar will also include Roundtable Connections, a keynote speaker, giveaways, helpful vendors, activities, and more!
