About this Event
Join us for Artisan Sourdoough Bread Baking Experience at Chai Aum, Pleasanton
Come spend an afternoon slowing down, getting your hands into some dough, and discovering the simple joy of making a beautiful artisan sourdough loaf from scratch.
This is more than a bread-baking workshop. You’ll learn the process behind a rustic, everyday loaf inspired by “Bisa’s Loaf”/ Grandma’s Loaf, along with practical techniques and tips you can take home and continue using in your own kitchen.
And because a great loaf is meant to be eaten, not just admired, we’ll also share delicious samples and ideas for turning your freshly baked bread into everyday meals from a vegan sandwich with zucchini, carrot and hummus to a take on the classic French Croque Madame, traditionally made with brioche but reimagined using Bisa’s Loaf.
You’ll also learn how to store your bread, keep it fresh, and make the most of every loaf after baking day.
No previous bread-making experience is needed. Come to learn, bake, taste, meet people, and leave with the confidence to bring artisan bread into your everyday life.
Plus: enjoy a complimentary chai or coffee during the experience, along with 10% off additional food and drinks at the café.
All skill levels welcome
