The Luminary Crown platforms exemplary 2-SLGBTQ+ leadership, elevates queer and trans visibility, and showcases grassroots advocacy across Greater Grand Rapids.

Creative / Casual Wear: Bold personal style and stage presence
Talent / Presentation: 4-minute live showcases of performance, artistry, and expression
Evening Wear & On-Stage Q&A: Elegance, poise, and live community advocacy
The winning titleholder and Luminary Court will serve as the official ambassadors for GRPC throughout the year—representing our community at the Grand Rapids Pride Festival, the Prism Gala, and spearheading vital community initiatives. All proceeds from the event directly support GRPC’s programs and community services.
The Grand Rapids Pride Pageant is open to all genders and gender presentation. While this not a drag competition, contestants are welcomed to participate in drag.
