This ain’t your average ribbon cutting!
YaMaya’s Tea & Spice Boutique is officially celebrating its GRAND OPENING, and we’re bringing a piece of Miami home with us!
We’ll begin with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, then Miami Generation Junkanoo will explode onto East Lake Boulevard with live drums, bells, whistles, movement and the unmistakable energy of Junkanoo.
Although Junkanoo is a proud Bahamian tradition, it is also deeply woven into Miami’s cultural fabric especially for those of us raised in communities shaped by Bahamian history and influence. Bringing Miami Generation Junkanoo to Tarrant is more than entertainment; it’s Sheila bringing a piece of home into the new home she has created for YaMaya’s Gift.
Come celebrate this milestone, shop handcrafted herbal wellness products, explore the boutique, meet the community and dance in the street with us.
This is a free, public, family-friendly celebration. It is also BYOB for guests 21 and older please enjoy responsibly.
