About this Event
Let’s take the light of Chanukah into the streets of Boston!
Join Shaloh House on Tuesday, December 8, from 5 to 7 PM for a joyful evening of community, music, menorah lighting, and a parade the whole family will remember. From the first glowing candles to the moment the Hummer limos set off, this is a celebration of Jewish pride, warmth, and the light we share.
For children, the highlight is a ride through Boston in a Hummer stretch limo with a rooftop menorah. For adults, the celebration continues on the road: join the parade in your own car and be part of a moving ribbon of Chanukah light.
Evening schedule:
5:00–5:30 PM — Welcome reception
5:30–6:00 PM — Public menorah lighting
6:00–7:00 PM — Grand Chanukah car parade
7:00 PM — Hummer limos return to Shaloh House for pick-up
A limited number of car menorahs are available. Arrive at 4:30 PM if you would like one mounted on your car. Children’s limo places are limited; please reserve in advance.
Gather your friends, bring the family, and help us fill the city with the spirit of Chanukah.
