Graffiti & Beyond: Two-Day Workshop
Graffiti & Beyond is an immersive two-day workshop designed to explore graffiti writing as both an art form and a cultural movement. Rooted in the history, styles, and traditions that shaped graffiti, this experience guides participants through the evolution of the practice—from its origins in identity-making and street expression to its global expansion into street art and large-scale mural making.
Day 1 — Foundations & Identity
Participants begin with an introduction to the instructor and a brief history of graffiti culture. Through creative exercises, they will tap into their personal identity and experiment with developing a visual “writer identity.” This day lays the foundation for understanding graffiti not just as lettering, but as a form of self-expression, voice, and presence.
Day 2 — Style, Voice & Technique
The second day centers on the concept of style—what it means, how it is cultivated, and how it reflects individuality. Participants explore their identity through spray-paint-based exercises, learning how style becomes a bridge between personal experience and creative expression.
