Gracefully Grieving: A Day of Hope, Healing & Restoration

Gracefully Grieving is a one-day retreat created to offer compassionate space for those experiences. Rather than treating grief as something to fix, overcome, or move through on a particular timeline, this day honors it as a deeply human process—one that deserves to be felt, expressed, and gently tended.
Through guided reflection, restorative movement, mindfulness, nature, community, Reiki, and sound healing, you will be invited to acknowledge what you are carrying, reconnect with yourself, and explore what healing might look like in this season.
No particular kind of loss is required. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels right.
“Healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means learning to carry love forward with grace.”
Your Journey Through the Day
The retreat will unfold through a thoughtful rhythm of reflection and restoration:
Arrive
Begin with herbal tea, grounding breathwork, and an opening circle that allows you to arrive exactly as you are.
Listen
Gentle restorative movement, nervous-system practices, and a quiet walk through the natural beauty of Serenity Farm will invite you to notice how grief may be living within your body.
Reflect
Guided journal prompts, visualization, and compassionate conversation will explore the many forms grief can take, including:
The death of someone we love
Divorce or the end of a relationship
Illness and changes within the body
Career transitions
Reproductive loss
Empty nest
Identity shifts
Friendships that have changed or ended
Dreams or versions of life that did not unfold as expected
Remember
Memory work and creative reflection will create space to honor what mattered, celebrate the love that remains, and welcome both tears and laughter.
Restore
A deeply restful sound bath and Reiki journey will offer an opportunity to soften, receive, and integrate the day’s experiences.
Carry Forward
The retreat will close with a personal affirmation, a meaningful keepsake, and one gentle, realistic step to support your continued healing.
The Gracefully Grieving Reflection Journal
Each participant will receive a copy of the Gracefully Grieving guided reflection journal, created by Erica L. Jones.
Thoughtful prompts, mindfulness practices, and gentle affirmations will support you throughout the retreat. You will leave with a personal collection of reflections, memories, and compassionate practices you can continue returning to long after the day has ended.
