Grace Friedman & Conscious Roots Presents: An Evening of Medicine Music with Rainer Scheurenbrand, A Special Guest Performance & A Cacao Disco
Join us for an acoustic sanctuary of sound, celebration, and heart expansion as we gather on the Front Range to welcome world-renowned virtuoso guitarist and medicine musician Rainer Scheurenbrand for his first official concert in Colorado. Yippie yeah!
Landing on the darkest New Moon of the year, this evening is a potent invitation to bring the light to the darkest night. Together, through the channel of music, the grounding medicine of cacao, and the uplifting medicine of dance, we will illuminate the depths, shake loose what has settled in the hidden corners of our foundations, and celebrate life in full expression.
This multi-layered journey features a master acoustic concert with Rainer Scheurenbrand and a special guest performance that transitions into a high vibe Cacao Disco dance party sure to ignite sparks of inspiration and light up the night! We are so honored to gather the tribe here in Colorado and host Rainer for this night of music and community! Come ready to have fun!
About Rainer Scheurenbrand:
If you know, you know. If you don’t know, come experience a maestro guitar wizard and find out what happens when masterful technicality meets the magical world of Spirit. Rainer Scheurenbrand is an internationally celebrated virtuoso classical guitarist, composer, and a foundational pillar of the global medicine music movement. His intricate arrangements serve as a profound bridge between exceptional technical brilliance and deep reverence for all our relations in this beautiful tapestry of life. Long before his music began to blossom into more devotional spaces, he immersed himself in the rigorous world of classical guitar and chamber music, mastering the instrument and earning top honors in prestigious international competitions. Then he went to South America and met the Spirits of the forest there who opened up a new world of music. His music is also influenced by the sun dance and the different lineages he has prayed and walked with.
A true pioneer of what has become the genre of medicine music, Rainer released his debut album, Jardim, in Rio de Janeiro in 2006, setting a historic milestone for the global community and rewriting his relationship to sound. He spent years playing alongside the legendary Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Carioca, as well as touring and collaborating with global conscious music icons like Deva Premal & Miten and Darpan.
His compositions masterfully open channels for the beauty, healing, and deep strength of the lineages he has immersed in to come through. With seven celebrated studio albums to his name, including his latest August 2026 release, Quetzal, Rainer’s live performances invite listeners into a vast, soul-stirring landscape of heart-centered expansion and communion with this magical existence.
