In this workshop Candy Catcher, we’ll be making an arcade style game in Python where a hero runs around the screen grabbing candies. Come along and learn about making characters appear and move - the basis of any game. How many candies can you catch?Students don’t need to have any programming experience to come along, we’ve got something for high school aged girls and gender-diverse students of all levels. We’ll cover the basics if you’re new to Python and show you some extra cool stuff if you’re already a programming pro!
Lunch, snacks and computers will be provided for students.
