Gowanus Reuse Center Volunteer Day

Once a month, volunteers help us clean and organize our Reuse Center, ensuring more donated materials find new homes and stay out of the landill.

Volunteer tasks include:

• Cleaning/dusting furniture
• Organizing housewares, clothing and other sections
• Measuring and labeling doors
• Sweeping
• Merchandizing and setting up displays
• Other tasks as needed

Plan ahead: Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated. Volunteers age 16+ are welcome.

Directions: We are located at 1 12th street Brooklyn NY 11215. Accessible by F and G trains. Free parking lot available.
