About this Event
Join us at Long Beach Mandir for a special celebration of Govardhan Puja, honoring Lord Krishna and the divine protection He offered to the people of Vrindavan.
Govardhan Puja commemorates the sacred story of Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill to shelter the people and animals of Vrindavan from torrential rain. By holding the hill aloft, Krishna protected the entire community and reminded them of the power of divine love, humility, faith and surrender.
This celebration invites us to reflect on our relationship with the Divine, express gratitude for the protection and nourishment we receive, and recognize the importance of living in harmony with nature and one another.
Come together with the mandir sangha for an evening of prayer, traditional puja and community.
