Gouache and watercolor are considered top eco-friendly painting mediums because they are water-based, non-toxic, and free from plastic polymers (unlike acrylics) and hazardous solvents (unlike oils). They use natural binders like gum arabic, offer easy, low-waste cleanup with water, and can be easily reactivated even when dry.
