You know the Gottman Method. Now deepen your skills in applying it when couples therapy gets complex.Join us in sun-kissed West Los Angeles for in-person Gottman Level 3 Professional Training with Caralee Hammer Frederic, LCSW, an Advanced Clinical Gottman Trainer and Certified Gottman Therapist.
Role-playing is at the heart of this training. Practice Gottman interventions with fellow clinicians, work through challenging scenarios, and receive guidance and feedback from Caralee. These hands-on experiences help you refine what to say, when to intervene, and how to respond when a session gets difficult.
Through demonstrations and guided role-playing, you’ll practice how to:
• Help partners manage emotional flooding and return to productive conversation.
• Explore the deeper dreams and meanings behind recurring conflict.
• Choose interventions based on the couple’s assessment and needs.
• Adjust your approach when an intervention gets stuck.
Ask questions, try different approaches, and build your clinical confidence in a supportive learning environment.
Make your training trip a Southern California getaway, too. Extend your stay to explore nearby Santa Monica, stroll along the beach, and enjoy West Los Angeles dining—pairing professional growth with time to recharge.
Prerequisite: Completion of Gottman Levels 1 and 2.
