About this Event
In this workshop, we will explore the world of Gothic drawing and its dark, dramatic atmosphere, using chiaroscuro to create an image rich in contrast and depth.
We will begin by observing and laying out the subject, then progressively build up the light, shadow, and details.
What we will do:
introduction to drawing and visual characteristics;
blocking in the subject and establishing proportions;
studying the main masses of light and shadow;
building chiaroscuro to create depth and atmosphere;
defining details and decorative elements;
final refinement of the drawing.
A workshop designed to explore a mysterious, theatrical aesthetic while deepening fundamental techniques in drawing, chiaroscuro, and composition.
No prior experience is required. The instructor will provide guidance throughout every stage of the workshop.
Cost: €60 (materials included).
