***English***
The performance The Shedding by Elise Reine, followed by a late-night Halloween party.
Experience the expressive and experimental performance ‘The Shedding’ by contortionist Elise Reine up close and party until the late hours of the night with other scum, monsters, freaks and misfits.
‘The Shedding’ explores transformation, life changes and the search for a love that extends to death. The audience is placed opposite each other, facing the performer. The artist’s body is central. Her flesh. Her thoughts. Her madness.
Elise Bjerkelund Reine presents a raw work that mixes circus, performance, art, theatre and dance. It sharply questions the sexualization of the contortionist and the romanticized representations of violence against women.
