They weren’t born evil. They were hired.
Before the explosions, the lairs, and the dramatic monologues… someone had to answer the job posting. GOON SQUAD is a fully improvised movie about the nameless henchmen behind every great villain — how they met, why they stayed, and the extremely questionable life choices that led them to a career in disposable evil.
We open on a high-stakes moment that throws this unlikely crew together (inspired by a suggestion from the audience). Then we rewind. Through flashbacks, side missions, and very bad interviews, we uncover the origin stories of each goon — the friendships, betrayals, and HR violations that shaped them into “Guy With Gun #3.”
Every twist, explosion, and dramatic reveal is made up on the spot, as the story races back to the opening moment… where everything finally makes terrible, hilarious sense.

Hunger Games but Puppets
I'm mad they stopped making Muppet parodies, so we're making our own! And what better way than the always and relevant to this politcal climate than Suzanne Collin's The Hunger Games. It's Dystopia, but with wacky puppet hyjinks!

Bad Dog Comedy Theatre and Sex T-Rex are honoured to announce the return of Blockbuster Week from May 11-16, 2026 at Videocabaret, a community gathering for some of Toronto’s most talented artists, Blockbuster Week is a beloved festival of brand new improvised comedies celebrating movies and television in a live, unscripted setting.
Blockbuster Week culminates on May 16 in a celebratory awards night called The Sexies, which sees Sex T-Rex awarding satirical yet heartfelt awards to all the artists in the festival.
