On Saturday September 26th we'll be having Open Mic for Comedians and Poets welcomed to Soul Goode location in Pearland, Tx. Showcase with Featured Comedian D.K. Ananobi! Hosted by the town's favorite host That Fellow Poet as he delivers his signature style of Spoken Word while keeping the show going. This is not a censored mic. Each poet on open mic will be allowed to perform on Poem and each comedian will be allowed 3 minutes of stage time. Lite bites available to order. BYOB and pay for mixers and cups. Guests attending to have one item minimum. Come out and enjoy the show. DJ Risky Cereal will be playing music throughout the night. Don't worry, he's fun! Early arrival recommended for seating.
Nigerian Comedian DK Abanobi! He came to the U.S as a teenager. Went to Westbury High School. Then became a nurse by profession and works with pediatrics. He wound up finding his passion for Stand-up sharing his experiences transitioning to American way of life. Very insightful and funny of course. DK has performed at the Improv Houston, Joke Joint, Cool Runnings, and various other clubs in Houston area. He's also performed in other stated such as Louisiana and Minnesota!
