?✨ Good Karma Presents: Wednesday Wellness Days at Cast Away Cafe!✨?This summer, join me downstairs at the Cast Away Cafe in Guysborough for a relaxed series of tarot reading days, pop-up market days, and the Wellness Wall Project.
The Wellness Wall is a community art project sponsored by ArtWorks East that will grow throughout the summer, one contribution at a time. Each week, participants will be invited to explore themes related to wellness, community, connection, belonging, creativity, reflection, and self-expression through art and writing.
?️ FREE to participate
? No registration required
???? Open to all ages
A wide variety of supplies will be provided, including:
? Paints
?️ Markers
✏️ Coloured pencils
✍️ Sketching materials
? Collage materials
?️ Oil pastels
? Paper and creative surfaces
Participants are also welcome to bring their own favourite art supplies if they’d like.
Create a painting, drawing, collage, poem, reflection, piece of writing, or something completely unique. You can take your creation home, contribute it to the Wellness Wall, or do both.
Over the course of the summer, the wall will gradually grow into a quilt-like collage made up of individual pieces created by community members and visitors. Together, these contributions will form a creative visual representation of wellness, community, connection, and the many different perspectives and experiences that exist within our region.
