About this Event
One of our exciting new initiatives this year is the Good Earth Makers Market—a celebration of local creativity, community, and more sustainable ways of living. The perfect way to participate in Circular Economy Month.
At its heart, the market is about rethinking how and where we shop. When we choose locally made, handmade, and plastic-free products, we have an opportunity to reduce some of the environmental impacts associated with mass-produced goods and long-distance supply chains.
We are especially delighted to feature talented artisans who give new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded. Recycled objects are transformed into beautiful and useful pieces, while upcycled fabrics become fabulous chairs, jackets, dresses, and other one-of-a-kind creations. These makers demonstrate that sustainability doesn't have to mean sacrificing beauty or creativity—in fact, sometimes the most imaginative things come from seeing possibilities in materials others might overlook.
The Good Earth Makers Market is an invitation to slow down, buy thoughtfully, support local talent, reduce unnecessary packaging and transportation, and celebrate the creativity already thriving in our community.
