About:
Lilly has been a singer-songwriter since age 10. She was trained to play classical piano at age 7 then transitioned to jazz and contemporary throughout middle school and high school. Music has always been a strong passion of hers. She enjoys mixing various genres of music and challenging her songwriting and melodic skills.
Outside of music, Lilly is a determined doctoral student. She is pursuing her Doctorates in Family Nursing Practice to open up a Holistic clinic in the South and West sides of Chicago to provide better health & wellness needs to underserved black, brown, & yellow communities that reside in the Chicagoland area. Lilly understands that health as a collective, is a “taboo” topic and most minorities frown upon discussion. She provides the resources, platform, network and mentorship to help families break down generational curses, and raise their health standards for themselves, regardless of economic status.
Currently, Lilly is a multi-business owner. She is the CEO and Founder of SZNL Chicago located in Pilsen. Here, Lilly & her team have created media-production & central ‘hub’ for creatives, and entrepreneurs alike to expand, network, and develop themselves personally & or professionally. Her and her SZNL team aim to collaborate with individuals that have a burning desire to materialize their dreams and goals. Lilly is also a certified Behavioral Weight Loss Specialist & runs Sweet Fitness (established 2020), her personal training company where she helps minority women develop self-confidence, self-efficacy, consistency, and knowledge in health & fitness. Lilly and her partner Amanda, also run a home, health, and beauty e-commerce business servicing various holistic needs for her clients and customers!
Lilly is the founder and curator of all Seasonal Jam events. She pulls artists from all across the Chicagoland area and unites them under one roof so that they may jam out and create musical sets together. She stretches these selected Jam artists to create short “themed” sets within one hour then perform at the end of the night. She also curates these events so that various upcoming artists, visual artists, DJs, and small business owners can showcase their talents and services. All of Lilly’s curations regardless of if they are music or wellness oriented, all have a strong focus on the community.
Lilly aspires to instill motivation and authenticity in her music, business, and events. She hopes to inspire individuals to pursue their best selves and not compare themselves to others. The message you will hear in her music is that you can be whoever you want to be and achieve as high as you believe you can. Forget what others think of you. Let them laugh and mock you...it's not FOR them to understand you. Stay true to yourself and one day, they will wish they gave you the time of day. Remember that you are exactly where you need to be. You have everything you need to become the best version of yourself within you! Be authentic. Be misunderstood. Stand proud of who you are! Stand up and stand out!
