Join us at the Museum for gold panning on Sunday, October 11 from 1-3:30pm.
Activities are provided by the Treasure Valley Gold Prospectors). You’ll learn to pan for gold from these experts, and everyone takes home a speck of gold!!
30-minute gold panning sessions takes place outside under shade canopies on the grass of the historic Women’s Ward Courtyard at the Old Pen. When you are done or while you are waiting for your time slot, you can also participate in an easy 40-minute guided geology hike on the nearby hillside at about 1:30 or 2:30. pm.
You'll want to enjoy our amazing Museum and see the blacklight display, mining camp, Idaho dinosaur, rocks and minerals and much more. Children get a free polished mineral!

ADMISSION for NON-MEMBERS: Adult $10; Kids $5
Everyone is required to register for their preferred time.
