A somatic release & sound gathering for womxn ready to break free. Expression is your birthright. Channel your rage.
About this Event

Step into the first event in the Going Rogue series. This is your space to feel, release, and reclaim your power.
This guided practice is intended to safely process anger, frustration, grief, and intensity through the body. All by channeling the expression that’s within you. The expression that is your birthright.

Beginning by arriving slowly and grounding into sensation through breath, gentle movement, and somatic awareness, from there, you’ll be invited to fully access expression and channel your rage in a supported way through sound, movement, props, stillness, or writing, guided by a vibrant playlist that is aimed to mirror the body’s natural arc of release. Expect moments to shake, scribble, vocalize, or go full-on rogue, with permission to feel it all.

After reaching those heights in your expressive essence, the experience softens into a sound bath, creating space to integrate, reflect, and ground as you come back to body awareness. In these moments, journaling or quiet connection is welcome, allowing you to process what moved through your body, mind, and spirit through this experience.

Everything is optional. Consent and choice lead the way. This isn’t catharsis for its own sake; it’s about letting what’s been held finally move and landing safely back in your body, ready to step into your power.
This experience is designed for womxn and those who feel called to move through the conditioning imposed by society to safely access, express, and release what’s been held in the body. While this space is created for womxn, non-binary, and trans participants are welcome if they feel aligned with the practice's intent.
What to bring and wear:

  • Comfortable clothing that allows for movement, stretching, shaking, or moving on the floor.
  • Yoga mat and pillow - this will be your playground for physical expression using body and voice.
  • A journal and pen if you want to write or reflect during the sound bath portion.
  • Any props you feel drawn to (small objects for grounding or expressive movement, etc.—some props will also be provided).
  • An open mind and permission to feel.
  • Non-judgmental mindset.

This is a confidential, consent-forward space. What happens in the room stays in the room. Freedom to express is built into the container.
Safety & Consent:
This is a physically and emotionally expressive experience. All participants will be asked to sign a consent and safety form prior to attending, acknowledging the movements and intensity involved. This ensures a safe, supported environment for everyone. A link to the form will be sent after registration.
