Hi! For those who don't know me, I'm Greg Kelly's daughter. We hope you will join us for *Hearts Collide: a musical celebration and benefit for Greg Kelly*.
Over the years, Greg has lent his voice in many ways throughout Ottawa's music community and beyond - from writing to mentoring to hosting, and of course, singing.
As you may know, Greg has developed a lung condition that has taken away his ability to sing. It's time for him to step back from the mic and lend his ear to musicians of all kinds who have been supported in one way or another by Greg.
Please join us on Sunday, March 29th as we celebrate all of Greg's contributions through song and friendship.
Details:
Date: Sunday, March 29th
Time: 2:30PM to 5:30PM
Place: First Unitarian Church, 30 Cleary Avenue (the one near the Ottawa River, not the one in Vanier)
Twelve performers (chosen by Greg himself), three sets, in the round. Various musical styles and interpretations. Details on performers to come!
There will be two intermissions to give people a chance to visit with Greg and enjoy some light refreshments, catered by Derek Marcotte
Like he has been doing for 14 seasons of Tunes After Noon, this will be a pass the hat/pay what you can event, with all proceeds going directly to Greg and Christina, to help offset some of the costs from unexpected accessibility expenses.
Space is limited, so we appreciate you RSVPing by March 22nd to [email protected], message me on Facebook or comment on this post.
Hope to see you there!
