About this Event
Do you believe in science and reason? Of course you do! Do you believe every human being has dignity? Of course you do! Do you believe that the idea of god is unnecessary to our ability to treat every human with dignity? If that’s a yes too, you might be a Humanist!
Humanists strive to bring about a progressive society where being good without a god is an accepted and respected way to live life. We are accomplishing this through our defense of civil liberties and secular governance, by our outreach to the growing number of people without traditional religious faith, and through a continued refinement and advancement of the humanist worldview.
Humanism is a nontheistic worldview with ethical values informed by scientific knowledge and driven by a desire to meet the needs of people in the here and now. At the foundation of those values is an affirmation of the dignity of every human being.
Humanists of Idaho are doing that godless work in Idaho, and as you can imagine, we need all the help we can get. Join us on Sunday October 25 for an evening of good godless jokes for good godless folks and meet your Idaho chapter of the American Humanist Association. We are a 503 c that works to defend civil liberties in Idaho and we need your help! All proceeds from the show will go toward fighting the good godless fight for liberty and equity for all.
This comedy show is lovingly produced by Moore Productions and features some of Boise’s funniest atheists. Let’s show these god-fearin’ Idahoans that we don’t need the fear of god to be good people… we have the love of humanity for that and a sense of humor.
